Swedish Bow Knots

Serves: 1 Batch makes about 24 cookies

Butter

1 cup

sugar

egg yolk

1/2 tsp.

salt

2 cups

flour (all purpose)

1 tsp.

Almond extract

  1. Using an electric mixer and large mixing bowl cream the butter.
  2. Slowly add the sugar. When the sugar is fully combined with the butter add the egg yolk, salt and almond extract.
  3. Slowly sift in the flour while continuously mixing. Chill for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Use a cookie press to form cookies on cookie sheet. Bake in a 325° - 350° oven 10-15 minutes or until the edges just brown.

Note: Usually made in double batches.
